suuperstitch is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually working to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards throughout the development of our platform.

We believe that every person should be able to discover, explore, and enjoy fashion, regardless of ability. Accessibility is not an afterthought; it is a core part of how we build and maintain suuperstitch.

2. Standards We Follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA wherever possible. These guidelines provide a framework for making web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including:

• Motor impairments

As an early-stage platform, we are working progressively towards full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance. Some areas of the platform may not yet fully meet all guidelines. We are committed to addressing these gaps over time.

3. Accessibility Features

We have implemented or are actively working on the following accessibility features:

• Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and semantic elements to provide meaningful structure for screen readers.
• Keyboard navigation: Core functionality is accessible via keyboard navigation.
• Alt text: We provide alternative text for meaningful images. Product images sourced from third-party brands may have limited alt text.
• Colour contrast: We aim for sufficient colour contrast ratios throughout the platform.
• Focus indicators: Interactive elements have visible focus states for keyboard users.
• Reduced motion:We respect the "prefers-reduced-motion" system setting, reducing or eliminating animations for users who prefer it.
• Responsive design: The platform is designed to work across a range of screen sizes and devices.
• Form labels: Form inputs include associated labels for screen reader compatibility.

4. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content on suuperstitch may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:

• Third-party product images: Alt text for product images sourced from brands may be generic or absent. We are working on improving this through AI-assisted descriptive text.
• Third-party websites:When you click through to a brand's website, that website's accessibility is the responsibility of the respective brand.
• Interactive elements: Some interactive features may not yet be fully optimised for assistive technology. We are progressively improving these.
• PDF or downloadable content: If offered in the future, downloadable content may not immediately meet accessibility standards.

We treat accessibility as an ongoing priority and are continuously auditing and improving the platform.
